Work tools: brush, roller, spraying gun
Tool cleaning: with water
Application conditions: +10 °C to +25 °C and (35–80) % relative humidity. Do not paint in very hot, cold, humid (rain, dew, fog) and windy weather, avoid direct sunlight. Failure to follow these recommendations may form poor-quality paint film.
Coverage rate: 4-5 m2/l, applied in 2 layers
Drying time (23 °C, 50 % RH): dust does not stick after 1 hour. Repainting can be done only after the first layer is completely dry (after ~2-4 hours), depending on the surface, layer thickness, air temperature, humidity, etc.
Surface Preparation
The surface must be stable, dry and clean.
Unpainted surfaces: remove the dust, mud, grease, and salts. Wash dirty building facades with a high-pressure water jet or sandblast. Prime porous and moisture-absorbing surfaces primed with IGIS AG deep primer.
Plaster mortars. Do not paint the new plaster surface for 2-4 weeks. The plaster needs to be fully dry prior to painting. Prime highly absorbent, porous, crumbling surfaces with IGIS AG deep primer.
Brick masonry. Clean the masonry of salts and do not leave cracks on it. Use facade paint on frost-resistant facade bricks.
Previously painted surfaces: remove the old peeling paint coating, and wipe the crumbling surface to a firm base. Treat the surface affected by fungi and mould with an anti-mould agent. If necessary, prime the surface with IGIS AG deep primer.
Application
Stir well before use. Apply 1-2 layers. Paint of the same batch shall be used to cover one surface. Stir them in one tare to ensure colour uniformity.
Paint large areas without interruption in the same direction throughout the wall. An even, high-quality coating is obtained by abundantly soaking the roller in the paint. Make sure there is enough paint on the roller during painting.
Maintenance
The surface film acquires full strength and can be cleaned after 28 days. Clean dirty painted surfaces with clean lukewarm water and a soft cloth or sponge. Hot water can soften the paint film. We recommend cleaning with mild alkaline cleaners (pH 6-8). Cleaners containing organic solvents are not suitable. Do not use abrasive cleaners such as rough sponges or brushes.
Precautionary statements: keep out of reach of children, avoid release to the environment, and wear protective gloves/ protective clothing/eye protective/face protective. IF ON SKIN: wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Additional hazard information: EUH208 – contains a mixture of 5-chlor-2-metil-2H-izotiazol-3-one and 2-metil-2H-izotiazol -3-one (3:1), 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H) -one, can cause allergy in humans.
Shelf life in tightly closed original packaging: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Storage and transportation conditions: store the product tightly closed in a dry well-ventilated place at a temperature of +5 ⁰C to +30 ⁰C, protect against damage, frost and direct sunlight.
